It always takes seeing a band live to fully appreciate them, it happened with Make Do and Mend, Such Gold and Fireworks, seeing bands sing with passion and like they mean it is what makes music so fucking brilliant.
Tonight I saw Valencia and was absolutely blown away, the lyrics above are taken from this song, they also feature in a Promise of Redemption song, but the point is, tonight Shane Henderson sang those lyrics like he meant every word and it was fucking incredible, it’s things like this that make me realise why music is so fucking important to me, I’m in the best mood ever right now, and for that I have to thank Valencia.
